FlyWithLua NG for X-Plane 11 v2.7.9 UPDATE January 9th, 2019: Official FlyWithLua NG (Next Generation) X-Plane 11 version 2.7.9 At X-Plained we’re very pleased to inform you that, in consult with X-Friese, we are able to offer you the FlyWithLua plugin from X-Friese. As X-Friese is always saying. The FlyWithLua story is going on!
This is the official brand new version of FlyWithLua NG for X-Plane 11, and, the same as for the previous version, it will no longer support X-Plane 10 or X-Plane 9. All X-Plane 9 users (are there any out there?) must stay at FlyWithLua 2.4.x and follow the instructions to convert FlyWithLua 2.4.x into X-Plane 9 mode. Going forward NG will be the only developed FlyWithLua version. Support will generally be a community effort.
And of course the official brand new version of FlyWithLua NG is running on all three platforms, Linux, Mac OS X and Windows. Thanks a lot to Sparker for making this possible. Without him, FlyWithLua would be a Windows plugin only. Something is going wrong? Carefully read the Log.txt file and let FlyWithLua write a debug file, if one of your scripts fails.
If you want to ask for help, please use the FlyWithLua help forum and add your Log.txt and FlyWithLuadebug.txt files. For any help click. What is FlyWithLua?
FlyWithLua offers a rapid development system to get in deep into X-Plane. An easy to understand, detailed manual is included.
FlyWithLua will support all platforms, Windows, Linux and Mac, and it will support X-Plane 9 and X-Plane 10. A script can be used on all platforms by default, without the need of re-editing. This let’s you share scripts with friends using other systems.
FlyWithLua uses LuaJIT as a compiler. This results in very fast code execution, much faster than the original Lua interpreter.
FlyWithLua is ready to be used by anybody, no matter if you are a beginner or an experienced Lua developer. First time downloading FlyWithLua? FlyWithLua isn’t freeware, it’s “timeware”! Wink.png You will have to read at least the basic installation instruction here inside the official FlyWithLua support forum. FlyWithLua was made in a couple of years for me as the creator and main developer, and also many many hours of building, testing and answering support questions to my co-authors Snagar and Sparker and some more volunteers helping this project to exist. So please have the appreciation to carefully read and understand some information about FlyWithLua – to avoid frustration to you and the developer team. Enjoy this plugin.

When I login it tells me: An X-Plane update is available! I click on 'Update X-Plane Now'. It starts updating, then I get the message. The installer has finished downloading. It begins and immediately gives UPDATE FAILED there was an error downloading the installer. There was an error launching the installer: error 3:-(-1). Radha soami satsang beas american.
I click OK and my X-Plane version 11.01 64 bit goes to the opening page. I can plane the version installed, but cannot install the next version. I don't know how to get help.
Please point me to a solution. Thank you, Lynn Fisher.
One regular issue coming up in support is that people updated their X-Plane purchased in Steam with the installer from x-plane.com. After that, X-Plane keeps asking for a serial number and won't start. Please note that if you are using the Steam version of X-Plane you can NOT update that version with the installer from the web site. Steam itself takes care of keeping the version current.
If you update it with the web installer, it will transform X-Plane to a DVD version, but as you don't have a DVD, it will not run and ask for a serial (which does not exist). You then need to repair your X-Plane installation by verifying your Steam cache, as described here: A full Steam F.A.Q. For X-Plane can be found here.
If you like the library, please consider supporting it. For system requirements for all versions,. If you have problems installing, check the or our YouTube channel: Install On macOS – double click the disk image, then when the window appears drag the installer onto the Applications folder.
Run it from there. On Windows or Linux – just unzip it, put it where you want it and run it.

You don’t need to download a new installer every time you want to update OpenSceneryX – just re-run it whenever you like and it will only download files that have changed. Dependencies: Although OpenSceneryX will work without needing to install anything else (except a scenery package that uses it!), some objects such as contain advanced animation that needs Sandy Barbour’s CustomSBDatarefs004 plugin to work, which you can. This is optional but recommended.
Use Normal X-Plane® Users If you are a standard user of X-Plane®, then you don’t do anything else. Installing this library does nothing on its own to the simulator – you won’t see any changes to your default scenery and you won’t see any new options in X-Plane®. However, scenery packages developed by other people can now use the objects in this library, so if you have installed any scenery package that uses OpenSceneryX then that package will come alive with objects.
